The Trump administration is sending all pregnant unaccompanied minors apprehended by immigration enforcement to a single group shelter in South Texas, where they are likely not getting appropriate healthcare (certainly not abortion). Some are as young as 13 and at least half are victims of rape.

It is amazing how some people get access to some tax revenue and immediately reinvent authoritarians (anti-democracy) from first principle.

It is the people of Portland tax revenue money and so must legally/morally be democratically accountable. That is the entire reason we have a democracy.

Trimet does seem to be pretty unresponsive to their customers (all of us) and also not very innovative. If elections could help solve these problems, I am in.
