Jesus’ up turn in form has been so wild. A month ago I thought he was done in European football, not just at Arsenal. His finishing and all round play has been so sharp. He’s so helpful for our left side when he plays up front.

I prefer Rice as a 6 but if we’re going to persist with him at 8 I’d love to switch him and Ødegaard around. Ødegaard could unlock our left side and Rice could do Saka’s dirty work and let him focus on getting goals.

It’s crazy how many goal scoring records we broke this year yet the reason we failed in the Premier League and Champions League were games we just couldn’t find a goal.

MLS is definitely needed at left back this season but I hope we make a pathway for him to move into midfield from next season. He’s so good. Would help with transitioning from Jorginho & Partey.

MLS still understandably got a bit to learn defensively at left back but he’s already elite on the ball. Lovely moment after the goal when he went to take a throw in and got a close up ovation from the fans for that turn and pass for the goal

Pretty clear that sometime in 2025 we need to sign a top striker. We also need a winger but I don’t necessarily think the winger needs to be a world beater. Hopefully we can address that in January.

I assume you can criticise Arteta here without people shouting that he should be sacked.
