This makes sense when you think of the way Natalie talks about the "trans women are women" slogan; she argues it's a bad slogan, not because it's untrue, but because it's not going to convince anyone that doesn't already believe it. We need better strategies if we want to actually make a change.

She wrote: "rightwing Israelis hold up all Anti-Zionist protests as existentially threatening and inherently antisemitic" That to me does not read as someone who agrees. Here's how I read it; Natalie thinks the focus on anti-zionism is tactically a bad choice.

I think you should try and ask immigrants and trans people what's different in their lives today.

I'm seemingly in the minority group of leftists who believe it was a bad idea to vote third instead of Kamala. Call me naive, but between Trump and Harris I figured we had a better chance at appealing to her conscience than his. I understand Natalie's bitterness at where we are at right now.

The main thing I disagree with Natalie on is that she seems to think protesting is futile, that it has brought more bad than good with it. I don't understand this claim, nor do I agree with it at all. The general public has never supported Palestine on such a large scale before, and that counts too.

I've seen more "Jews control everything" conspiracy theories online than I've ever seen before, and I see them from the left as well as the right. Every video of Israelis fleeing Israel from Iranian bombs has gifs of cockroaches and rats in the comments. What does this rhetoric remind you of?

Very strange to see this many people claim Contrapoints supports genocide when she clearly stated the opposite. Nuance is dead! I don't agree with everything she said in her statement, but I've also seen enough antisemitic crap on my SoMe feed lately to know that she's correct in pointing it out.
