Spending this day in the hospital on the transplant floor. But the attending recommended his favorite pizza and our nurse agreed. So pizza and knots to the rescue replacing our annual taco bar family celebration. It isn't ideal but he is still here after a scary week. Today I am rooting for cure!

This sums it up.

Median income is under 40k,. Data centers don't hire many and don't pay well. But Google needs the tax abatement and we just have to accept higher utility bill?

Our rural county just signed a deal with Google for 500,000 sq ft. Data center. The commissioners gave Google a 75% property taxes abatement. And when asked about electricity bills spiking, told us that was just something we had to accept. Rural, Appalachian county w/ pop under 74k. Accept???

My husband will be inpatient on a transplant unit the 30th. I totally support his nursing staff striking this day. I am a social worker by trade, I will cover my husband's care that day and anyone else on that floor who needs monitored. One small way I can help right now.
