This is how fat I am. Wild Robot is on Netflix now. Jojo LOVES that movie so we’ve watched it at least a dozen times. Still slaps.

Pretty disappointed that I had to miss yet another concert because of the lack of childcare.

But I just showed Jojo the joy of taking her animal crackers and scooping out peanut butter, so I’ve got that going for me.

I was having a discussion about battery-powered riding mowers on Reddit yesterday when someone chimed in with Tim the Tool Man Taylor-esque "argh argh" noises, saying I should have bought gas-powered. It's 2025, why do we treat gas versus electric like some sort of masculinity contest?

I enjoy talking to other dads that are involved just as much physically as they are emotionally with their kids. Not to exclude anyone, but you don’t hear about the mental and emotional changes that people go through when they raise kids & a lot of men just don’t like talking about it.

Providence elementary parents, please ignore the man walking his kid to school today with what seemed to be a leash. It was a Santa Claus tie, and she was pretending to be a feral cat. This was all at her request. Please disregard any further sightings because it will likely happen tomorrow as well.

The Viking AC and odyssey gave me some serious AC burnout because of the scale and the amount of things to do. I never beat either one because I kept getting side tracked (personal problem I know). Shadows has me intrigued especially because of all the rage it’s getting. So is it pretty solid?

Figuring out a new strategy in your sleep/lucid mind is an amazing feeling.

Bacon & pineapple are superior to ham & pineapple. Ham is too inconsistent to be good on pizza. Truthfully I have to be in the mood for it because pineapple sometimes has a squishy crunch that I don’t want sometimes. Donatos pizza puts cinnamon and almonds on there’s. 🤌

Did it have pineapple and cheese or did it have pineapple, cheese, bacon, and/or a little cinnamon? The bacon is a big difference maker.

I’ve eaten more Cheetos in the last few days than the previous 6 months combined to appease her and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here’s a moment of zen for you and some insight into what a good soul Jojo is. Her new favorite thing to do is sit on the couch and share fingertip chopstick #Cheetos with me. Today she insisted on passing them using only the chopsticks and she couldn’t be more pleased about it.

Yesterday I woke her up with #TalkingHeads - Psycho Killer and she spent most of the day randomly saying “…fa-fa-fa-fa.” Today I tried everything from #KendrickLamar to #B-52’s and nothing worked. 3/4

I like to wake her up with #music because sometimes she’ll wake up dancing and happy. The trick is to find the right song. Sometimes it’s music she’s never heard, other times more familiar songs like #MissRachel or #SuperSimpleSongs 2/4

Jojo (5, soon to be 6) is not a morning kid. Waking her up is a roll of the dice. Some days she’s all snuggly and cute, other days she wants to argue what the meaning of the word “up” is. 1/4

While obviously a nepo project for m night’s sister, I enjoyed about 75% of it. I liked Hartnett and want to see him in more charmingly dangerous roles. The movie went south once the concert ended, but I consider it an ok movie. Not his worst.
