That kings of convenience album always takes me back to my first year in Liverpool, 24 years ago now. I worked on the radio and was listening to my colleague when she played failure. I went straight out the next day and bought the album. A great album and I still love it.

Yes. Very much yes. I like that remix. It's just the same stuff as the original but in a different order.

I want to "like" this more than once.

I bought that when it came out on the strength of one song I'd heard. I didn't like the album one bit. But I'd spent my 1999 £13.99 on it and I wasn't likely to be buying another CD any time soon, so I just listened to it again and again.

It became one of my favourite albums of all time.

They're normally rubbish. The occasional early UB40 or Blondie 7". I think these guys have cleared out a storeroom.

Yup. Been back twice since. They went down to 3 for a quid then 5 for a quid. Unbelievable.

Yeah. I used to have it but it didn't survive a cull. I was far too harsh when slimming the collection down 7 or 8 years ago and have since re-bought some stuff that went 🤦

It's easy to forget how utterly different this sounded when it came out. Yeah, it had its roots in the garage sound of the time, but presented in such a unique way. A class album.
