11.03.2025 03:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I highly suggest using and learning git (the version control system). GitHub is a remote repository and uses git. missing.csail.mit.edu/2020/version...
11.03.2025 03:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Definitely should be using GitHub/gitlab or something for version control and a remote repository.
11.03.2025 02:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How can I delete someone else's post on the internet so nobody ever has to see it again?
08.03.2025 02:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes. So by that virtue DOGE itself is not transparent. The federal data here was already *always* available and is fully transparent. I donβt understand why DOGE even exists when we already have the GAO.
17.02.2025 14:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Donβt they just get this data from publicly available federal data?

23.11.2024 16:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah yeah. Guess I just didnβt really ever consider them as different languages. I used to quite enjoy working with typescript because Iβm very attracted to well defined types and data shapes. I now work with rust and go professionally and am just forever used to types.
22.11.2024 20:30 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah yeah, interesting. Guess I never thought of it that way haha. I always just sort of bucketed them in to the same thing.
22.11.2024 20:27 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh yeah, Iβm familiar with Typescript sorry I should have put more context. I was a typescript dev for ~3 years in the past. That being said I always viewed them as essentially the same thing even though typescript added things on to JS.
22.11.2024 17:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Are typescript and JavaScript different languages? I mean there would be no typescript without JavaScript π€ also I believe most libraries for typescript are actually JavaScript with JSDOC type hints.

18.11.2024 14:32 β π 35 π 14 π¬ 5 π 1Iβve been wanting to potentially try to do something that mixes datafusion and ATproto. Iβve seen some folks doing some cool duckDB atproto stuff so it may be neat to building something using a different query engine.
19.11.2024 01:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I read DDIA as part of a reading group. It was wildly more digestible when you have people to discuss it with. Iβm potentially planning on getting folks together for 6.5840 & CMU-15-445.
