そんな青春の展開を楽しめるのは、この二つのゲームパッチリだな

Along with Kimikiss (which this is a successor to), this gives the most realistic depiction of the weird space between friends and lovers of any dating sim IMHO.

I finished my first run of Amagami!
First dating sim choice for me is always whoever I fall for first, so Nanasaki won out.

I now understand why Amagami is considered pretty legendary.

I will say I feel slightly more mentally comfortable using Perplexity than ChatGPT. I had a really good use case for it today: I took a steam train, but wanted to know about the locomotive itself. Took a couple pics, uploaded it to Perplexity, and got a fully sourced history. That’s quite cool.

I think if you remember to avoid em dashes then you’ll be good.

…if only Outlook didn’t automatically add them. I always write very formal at work, so my emails come off as AI-ish as well 😣

Still trying to form an opinion on Perplexity as well. That’s what I initially wanted all this to be: pulling from sources, not training data (I know that’s not exactly how it works, but still).

And by tool, I specifically mean “hey I need you to do this with this”. Not, “do this for me”, if that makes sense.

I don’t know if it’s worth the energy cost and the guzzling of copyrighted content though. My feelings are complex on it, and I’m not sure if that means me a bad person…

re last post reply: I’ve been forcing myself to use ChatGPT for about a month now in order to actually form an opinion on it. I’m not sure if the conclusion I’ve come to is spicy or not but it basically boils down to: surprisingly good tool, generative stuff (art, video, writing) is very icky no thx

I should note this can also be run using iOS’s local model if you’d rather not use ChatGPT, but the setup is slightly different and potentially results in messier output (not that it’ll get in the way of actual Anki importing though).
