What a cover. Stared at it picking out images inspired by classic Conan yarns. That's Belit below the Cimmerian, right? I mean, it doesn't have to be, but it sure fits my mental image of the Queen of the Black Coast. I'm buying multiple copies in hopes of addicting a few lapsed Conan comic fans.

I recall feeling a measure of surprise and even disappointment that the bunny was not named Patrick.

Believe it or not, the sequel is even more lurid.

To my mind the books just get better as they go. If I had to pick favorites I’d choose The Seventh and The Sour Lemon Score. Admirable, steel trap constructed, entertainment.
