I had Carpenter Brut's cover of Maniac playing and scrolled down and there was this post. What are the chances??

I literally took this shot at the #BLFC2025 dance blind--wearing a fursuit head and without my glasses. Everything was blurry. I set the camera's autofocus, aimed, and snapped the pic.

If you believe you are being lied to, there are no good outcomes, whether you're right or not. I know you know it on a conscious level, but yeah it can be hard silencing those voices of doubt. Just have to remember that you are loved as well, and you've surrounded yourself by good people.

Paint over of the art in question.

Another quick paint over! Keeping a single smooth curve through the neck to the top of the spine to prevent the hunchback. Pulling the spine in at the small of the back and pushing it out at the hips (those alternating curves). Bringing the shoulder up and the far arm much bigger to match scale.

Pose exaggerated for effect here. Not every pose should be like this, of course. If you want a sullen and mopey character, you might want a single swooping curve from the neck all the way through the body and legs. Try to avoid parallel and stacked lines to build interesting compositions!

Something to consider in the future for building dynamic and natural looking poses is to alternate the directions of the lines making up the pose. A quick draw over pushing the shoulders back and hips forward (don't let the hanging shirt throw off your body construction lines with the ref!).
