note, RE: DRAIN MAN - needs to be played straight like a drama, it will read like a comedy

accounting is gonna be up our ass over this budget but if we dont do it big in this next episode and boost the ratings we’re probably going to be writing for a different show soon

okay that’s not fair, they were dragged to a different production, but still! i know theyve got double dash in there

the VFX team said we need to alter the big monster confrontation scene to put more focus on the character’s reactions than the actual monster, which is code for they fuckin played mario kart all week and didn’t work on the monster prosthetic

i highly doubt it though because last time they brought real pirates in for something an actor was stabbed and got tetanus

for next weeks episode they want us to write lyrics for a sea shanty and supposedly they’re bringing in real pirates to perform the song

the studio already had the rights to select words, so the main characters say “yeah” and “obfuscated” more than anything else

the tv studio is now budgeting for cost per word, and due to budget cuts, we were required to cut 1000 words from the script for this episode
