This was January 12 and the tree still has its leaves. They are all fallen now (February 12) but I’ve got bugs showing on my fruit trees! This is not normal.

So I left the north east of the lower contiguous 48 states of North America to move to the southwest of New Mexico. NM till had winter but not five months of it with 4’ snowfalls every week…. This year it’s February and the days are in the 60s& 70s and there are butterflies on my crocuses. Scary.

Got cha. I love sitting for hours cuddled with a real ‘dead tree’ book. But after eye surgery I was sooo grateful for audio books, especially beautifully acted/ narrated titles.

In my thirties (40 yrs ago) I worked on a ranch where we raised Scottish highlanders. I got to mother two orphans. They are my ‘babies’ for two years until the owner sold them. I had lots of hug time but then lots of cry time. At least they were females and sold as breeders. Hugs

A silhouette of a body from the side. It is filled with a growing thriving broadleaf tree. The leaves are multiple shades of greens blues and gold. The trunk is a beautiful caramel color with a gentle curving sway and curving branches. The roots are in the torso, the branches start in the chest and branch upward to the brain. Is there such a thing as a ‘group sponsored publication’ ? Something like a ‘go fund me’ type of thing? Like investors who don’t expect dividends?
I saw a jack rabbit in my garden today. He wasn’t white (they aren’t) but he made me think of you. Sending strength.

I would put it aside in the fund I’m keeping for my 91 yo mom who has used up her reverse mortgage and will need finances as she continues to age.

I have a memory of my dad and I planting rose bushes for my mom for Mother’s Day…I was six or seven I think. May the coming new year be filled with lovely memories old and new. 2/2
