Ben van plan de Simplon Orient Express route te rijden met wat uitstapjes in de Balkan. Eenmaal in Istanbul is het plan om door te gaan tot de grens met Georgië, totaal zo'n maand. Terugreis ook per trein maar dan door Roemenië en Tsjechië.

I think investing in an underground station now would be the best decision for Schiphol and Amsterdam. This turnback requires unnecessary time and, if line 52 isn't automated, requires the driver to switch cabs.
I also believe a decision is yet to be made on the routing.
Schiphol has put all their expansion plans in one video. Still keeping the 1 terminal design and adding a metro connection to Amsterdam. Interestingly above ground as a terminus station but with trains continuing onward to Hoofddorp kind of like SFO airport.

I want to rectify this, apparently NS started procuring these new trains in 2022 under the name "Sprinter 5th Generation (S5G)". I don't know how that flew under my radar

Finished my last exam ever and I went out with a bang, highest grade in class. The course is Railway Traffic Management, so my hours of watching railway videos and playing sims paid off.

From the documents I have seen so far they are actually proposing getting rid of the Light-Rail alignment between Centraal and Westraven and completely replacing it with this grade-separated new alignment.
