Eoin Colfer has a similar sense of the absurd as both Pratchett (RIP, met him twice and a true gentleman) and Adams (didn't meet him but re-read regularly). He mostly writes YA fantasy and is very amusing. I did not like Colfer's completion of Adams' final unfinished novel though, it read 'wrong'.

Haven’t watched it for a couple of years now but used to be a fanatic. I even used to have an alarm called “Insiders”. Couldn’t stand speersy and his smarmy approach to “interviews” especially with labs and independents. Sunday morning is now speersy-free.

Frozen grated cheese or cheese like substance. I’m dairy/lactose intolerant and even lactose free cheese is beyond my capacity now so the fake grated stuff is what I can have. But it freezes so who gives a crap what it looks like when it’s on a pizza? 7/-
