yea thats why i was having such a hard time troubleshooting bc it SHOULD just work. not sure if the missing translation folder or whatever matter at all or if its smth else but thats the only meaningful error message i got

the thing abt proton is that it works so well i forget its even a thing until it doesnt and it makes me suffer immensely. unfortunately michael soft makes us walk the demons path (linux desktop bc i dont want to use win11)

im running linux mint + thru steam and the native linux version doesnt launch (from the terminal mssgs i got/looking at the files i think its missing a bunch of folders for some reason), and running it through proton will open but crash when trying to create/load a project
