speaking of my case, when you're a victim it truly feels like you are encouraged to drop and not pursue the case at every corner. the officer assigned to my case told me over and over i would have to see my rapist face to face and the case would take years to go anywhere. we need a better system.

ranting a bit but as an afab who has been sa'd with a court case that fell through despite a rape kit and witness the world is feeling like such a scary place. an alleged rapist has an army blindly supporting him and the women who called him out are being hounded, please let this change.
