Man. I loved making ginger gems in home ec so much I suggested getting a gem iron, and my mum said no, but....erm 30+ years on, maybe I should buy myself a gem iron, because that's inspiring

I am isolating from my covid positive family in our spare room with a bottle of single malt....
But I can claim I've not had a gin

Have been trying to see the funny side to it, remembering when wife's straight friend brought her lesbian sister around who stared at us and baby and was clearly trying to show a polite interest and not shriek "the joy of being gay is NO breeding!!!"

Just to say I've had an entirely suboptimal day (wife away sllw eek, picked her up from airport rapt she was back to share chores and she tested positive for covid so I've now all the chores + room service) and this comment about choices and mundane kept me going....thank you

What do you think of the whisky? I had a dram in an airport and quite liked it, but was just one dram.... not a litre bottle
