If this administration wants to do something, it'll first try to get away with breaking a law, then work to change the law.

I've seen some takes that Trump and his ilk will be bound by the law and that appeals to legality will save us. Just remember that something being made "the law" doesn't make it right. History is filled with monsters making, then following, laws.
