For me paragraph 1 & 3 are generic who are you etc, and thanks for giving me consideration.

Paragraph 2 is the big one. Things like “as you can see in my cv I’ve done x and y which directly translates to this opportunity in z way”. It’s a roadmap of why you’re perfect out of 100 applicants

I wouldn’t be a scientist without #NSF. REU programs taught me both what types of science I liked and didn’t (and as a trainee that 2nd is important). I was also lucky to have my PhD largely funded by NSF. The ramifications of what’s happening today will echo for decades

Check the locking ability of the zipper and you should be good. I have both long and short sleeved and only have had issues with one

It came online on our campus years ago as a workaround after they locked down all other options to non-government devices (for vendors and speakers, etc) especially in buildings with no reception for hot spotting. In some ways that’s worse because it’s not something people think about.
