“The wish makes it possible to do the things we otherwise wouldn’t be able to do by dealing with the logistics! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Make-A-Wish. Daisy’s wish brought us closer together as a family and we’re so grateful for that!” - Daisy's mum 💙

Thanks to the generous support of The Kentown Wizard Foundation, Daisy had her wish ‘to go to Disneyland Paris’ granted and the family had their first opportunity in six years to spend time together away.
Daisy had fun on the rides and got to meet her favourite character, Donald Duck! 🦆

Last year, funding from The Kentown Wizard Foundation enabled us to grant 100 Disneyland Paris wishes! We can't thank them enough for their latest grant of £520,000 which will enable more children living with critical illnesses like Daisy, create magical memories with their families ✨

From left to right, Jacob’s dad, Sir Brian May, Jacob, his mum and younger brother, Lennon are stood smiling for a photo. Standing in a large living room with high ceilings, they’re in front of a large Christmas tree, decorated with tinsel, baubles and icy blue lights.
Sir Brian May and Jacob are stood in a large, carpeted living room. On the right, Jacob is playing a red guitar and concentrating on his finger positions on the strings, and he strums them. Sir Brian is stood on the left. He has both hands out gesturing towards Jacob and is smiling.
Throughout treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, Jacob has found a love for music.
We recently granted his wish to meet his inspiration for learning to play the guitar, Sir Brian May 🎸
Together, they chatted all things music, played guitar and even started songwriting 🎼

Teal background with a white square in the middle. This is pinned by a red and yellow star, blue and yellow magic wand, light blue star and orange and white speech bubble graphic in each of the corners. Inside the white square, is a quote from a Make-A-Wish UK wish parent. They say: "She is noticeably more independent since her wish. She lost a lot of that independence when she went into hospital when she had no control over what happened to her. She wouldn’t even want to pick out her own clothes before, but now she’s ready to organise everybody and she’s getting back to her normal cheerful self. She really needed this to help change her perspective."
When a wish is granted, it can inspire the wish child to believe that anything is possible, helping restore some of the childhood that they missed out on because treatment for their condition interrupted school or typical family activities ✨

Light blue background with a dark blue square in the middle. This is pinned by a teal and yellow smiley face graphic in the bottom right corner, and a red and yellow star graphic in the top left corner. Inside the dark blue square, is a quote from a Make-A-Wish UK wish child, Alf. His wish was granted in 2024. Alf says: "My wish was everything I hoped for and more. It was just perfect. I could not have asked for anything else more special. I will never forget it and am so grateful my wish was granted. It made me feel special. It made me feel more determined than ever to keep going and be positive."
A wish is more than just one moment. It inspires wish children to believe that anything is possible and reach for the stars - days, months and even years after their wish. ⭐

Teal background with a dark blue box in the top half. The box is pinned by two, snowflake graphics in light blue and yellow. Inside the box there’s text which says: “We estimate just over 1,000 children in the UK between the age of 3 and 17 will be diagnosed with a critical illness this Christmas.”

Wishes provide a much-needed escape from critical illness. However, growing demand means it’s taking longer than ever to grant every child’s wish.
Without your support, we can't meet this demand and reach children before it’s too late. Donate now 👇

Teddy is wearing red and green Christmas pyjamas and is sat on a brown carpet. He is looking up at the camera and smiling while holding a children’s book in his hands. To the right, there are lots of Christmas presents stacked up against the wall. The wrapping paper is blue and red and has cartoon graphics of Father Christmas and Christmas trees on it.
Teddy and his family are sat inside a wooden log cabin at Centre Parcs’ 2022 Winter Wonderland. Behind them is Father Christmas and they’re all smiling for the camera. In the background, there are toys, presents and a Christmas tree.
Teddy (6) was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of high-grade brain tumour.
Following a Christmas in hospital, Teddy wished ‘to visit Centre Parcs at Christmastime' so he could make new memories in a wintery paradise ❄️

Blue background with large text in white at the top. The text says: “Did you know?” Just beneath this, there’s more text in yellow. This says: “At any one time, each of our amazing Wishgranters are bringing to life 80 wishes whilst the Referrals team process 600 applications - supported by up to 180 volunteers!”. At the bottom of the image, there are various colourful illustrations including a birthday cake, camera, smiley face, magic wand and much more.
Behind every wish granted is a village of caring, ambitious and dedicated people ⭐
Together, we're determined to turn tears into cheers and give children facing critical illness the chance to dream big and create life-long memories, no matter what the future holds 💙
