Yesterday—after @ar3.me and I discovered we both have swords in our offices—was the first day since sometime in high school I thought, “I need more swords.”

I thought that dude was super hungry, and was pushing us all over to find the smallest one to eat.

Kinda wild. When I first saw his name I thought WTF did he say this time. Too bad they couldn’t reconcile.

I’ve always enjoyed the skater community, though always been too risk averse to participate. At least when I was a kid, they would lift each other up, play good music, make some good trouble, and maintain a comedic irreverence and nonchalance that was magnetic.

I feel like I’ve said this before. Who knows? Or more realistically, who cares? Originality in the age of butthole AI seems unimportant.

Best part of using Claude is that the logo looks like Kurt Vonnegut, Jr’s drawing of a butthole in Breakfast of Champions, so I am reminded of Vonnegut regularly, and then I giggle a bit.

Savage. The kid was young enough that it seemed like they were very serious, and perhaps thought they had found a teaching moment for mom.

I can’t stop thinking about the fact that all but one of the football teams in the top leagues in Germany are owned by Germans (look 50+1 rule), but America tends to be highly represented in the other top football leagues in Europe.

Kudos to Germany. I should watch more Bundesliga.

I’m embarrassed that I looked up to DHH at one point. I’ve been fortunate enough to organize the Indianapolis Ruby Brigade, attend multiple RubyConfs, and chat with hundreds of Rubyists. DHH doesn’t represent our community any longer.
