I am baffled by the liberal love in for Polanski.

His policies are either stupid - leave NATO - or substance free - economy, energy etc.

If you do think that climate change is the biggest challenge we face, and I do, then Polanski risks diverting energy and focus.

Building proper new towns would require them to be built according to a carefully designed plan. There is no hint that this is being done - or that anyone has even thought about it.

A great example on #r4today of how the government needs to be building COMMUNITIES, not just houses.

Houses need shops, GPs, dentists, schools, INFRASTRUCTURE around them.

Aside from the fact that all the new houses need to be truly affordable & that’s not what’s happening, is it?
