Social care in Britain is doomed No government is willing to make unpalatable choices needed to resolve the crisis.

Fixing the crisis in social care means answering an unpalatable question: who will pay? In ordering yet another Royal Commission, the government has shown it lacks the political courage to actually make a decision.
