You missed out on peak Halo era. There was nothing like it for split-screen multiplayer for Halo 1-3. You could play co-op campaign on same couch on 1 TV. LAN Parties were fun: 16 players on 4 TVs via system link.

Some people are trying to recreate that era, but I think the ship has long sailed.

That conflicts of interest section puts a huge damper on the conclusion.
