28 Days Later started a zombie debate that's still raging today 28 Years Later will bring fast zombies back to cinemas, but some horror fans still think the undead should move at a snail's pace. What do the experts think?

Our own @drstevejones.bsky.social was interviewed for this article about zombies by @tomjbeasley.bsky.social

Krysia Waldock: 'Impossible Subjects'? Exploring autistic
people's inclusion and belonging in religious groups.

Dr. Krysia Waldock will share the findings from their doctoral research, where they explored autistic people's inclusion and belonging in churches and mosques through group conversations and collecting autistic people's stories. Krysia will share how we 'do
religion' shapes access, boundaries and barriers in religious groups. Krysia will finally share some thoughts and directions on creating spaces which value autistic people, and can enable us to flourish.

Shortened abstract of essay "The Director as Facilitator: Collaboration, Cooperation and the Gender Politics of the Set" by John Alberti

This chapter argues that women’s collaborative methods should be understood as deliberate political interventions into production practices that privilege the white male director. Drawing extensively on his interviews with filmmaker Lynn Shelton, Alberti focuses on the workplace
practices of a director who functions more as a facilitator and curator for films that are often improvised collectively.
