Quadrants of Morality In State of Fear, Michael Crichton says that there are four ways of doing things. Understanding this forever changed me, and the way I look at life and understand people. Tonight, there's a council meeting. At the special meeting, Four of the council members, along with the City Manager and City Attorney tried very hard to prevent the public from having a say before today's meeting. Now tonight's meeting as been changed to "Virtual Only." It's harder for the unhoused, an already vulnerable population, to access the internet. They also have a habit of "accidentally" turning off services at the Municipal Building when social justice is happening.

Please remember that disseminating information is essential. #visibilityforthevulnerable

AIQ – The Cost Of Homelessness The cost of homelessness is significant, imposing high expenses on emergency services, shelters, and the legal system, with annual costs up to $31,545 per person. In contrast, the Housing First model provides immediate housing access, costing up to $23,000 less annually while improving outcomes and reducing overall expenditures across systems.

What Happens When We “Drive Out” the Homeless? What Happens When We "Drive Out" the Homeless? ~Can you help me understand what happens when a city "drives out" the homeless? ~What methods are used? What are their effects? ~Who is involved? ~ Why do people choose this? ~What gaslighting shows up in this discourse? ~Ultimately, what are the outcomes for the homeless? ~What are the outcomes for the rest of the community? Cities “drive out” the homeless through a mix of legal, logistical, and symbolic tactics that often prioritize visibility and control over care. These actions can devastate unhoused individuals while offering communities a false sense of resolution.

95) Let Them Ch 2 – Part 1 The post emphasizes personal growth through understanding Viktor Frankl's teachings on meaning and accountability. It reflects on the author’s experiences with trauma and resilience, asserting that true happiness derives from meaningful connections and love. The narrative encourages self-acceptance, acknowledging that worth is not contingent on external validation.

The Working Poor – Not a New Concept The Working Poor - Not a New Concept In "The Working Poor: Invisible in America," David K. Shipler explains “It takes twenty years of nothing going wrong to escape poverty.” That's 20 YEARS, with no broken arms, nobody getting cancer, no brakes going out in the car, no babysitter quitting, no employer not paying you on time, no evictions, no repossessions, no deaths, no fires, no floods, no getting fired, no speeding tickets. If you have a parent, sibling, partner, or child who isn't perfect, who messes up, who causes trouble, doing everything perfectly will never happen.

94) Let Them The author reflects on their conflicting feelings about "The Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins, grappling with past trauma while trying to embrace the concept of letting others have autonomy. The insightful book resonates, yet it triggers frustration as it unintentionally normalizes controlling behaviors, revealing the challenges faced by those with a painful history.

Then, on page 7, she's talking about imposter syndrome, and not needing anybody else's permission to be you and to live your life. I sure believed that. I still do. The reality is that you do need permission, or you lose jobs, resources, access, people, networks. It's a lot easier to think you don't

10.5.25 – Loveland’s Unhoused – A Manufactured Crisis Loveland's unhoused - A Manufactured Crisis These last several days have been a whirlwind of trying to create impactful content as fast as humanly possible. Please if you see this, remember that continuing to share anything you see on the matter, helps the lives that hang in the balance to be seen and heard. There are some things I want to be perfectly clear about. Passive eugenics is still eugenics. Turning a blind eye to our most vulnerable has no valor, and instead it allows the erasure of "undesirables" for the benefit of the privileged.

He cited some 40+ organizations here to help the unhoused. I only count 5. Let's walk through this together. You have nowhere to stay tonight and you're trying to have a place to be. You walk to the library to log on, because eugenicists get real mad if you manage to acquire a cell-phone, even though it's necessary for accessing SO MUCH. We are in this together, and in combining our voices, we are mighty. Look, the overnight shelter closing wouldn’t be a crisis If it hadn’t been manufactured behind a mask of niceness. Because it was SUPPOSED to be fine. There was SUPPOSED to be a plan. The planning commission was SUPPOSED to show up With a “study” in hand. AIQ – When Weaponized Procedure Violates Decorum The Loveland City Council is accused of misusing procedural rules to suppress dissent while demanding decorum. Citizens cannot formally raise points of order, limiting their capacity to challenge misconduct. The council's tactical obstruction of emotional advocacy undermines transparency and accountability, contributing to a structural void for unrepresented voices during public meetings.

The Loveland City Council HAS to be held accountable. #homelessness #homeless #housingcrisis #unhoused #loveland #colorado #america #usa #mcfall #olson #marsh

91) Food Addiction- How it Started The evolution of food consumption has deeply affected human health and society. Early humans thrived on raw and foraged foods until cooking and agriculture emerged, leading to an increase in population but poorer health. Specialization and a token economy created inequalities. Today, this history contributes to widespread food addiction and obesity crisis.

We put things in our mouths and survived some of them. We kept eating those. Some tasted better than others. We preferred to eat those. As we discussed in The Cult of the Ego, the best intel we had was from the people who had survived before us. We ate what they ate- mostly.

AIQ – Special Meeting Aftermath – Loveland Housing Crisis After last night's special meeting, I thought it would be good to check in with Copilot. We're a long way from getting to the bottom of this, and half of our leadership is pulling out all of the stops to avoid treating human beings as people. Can you tell me what the buzz is in response to last night's special meeting of Loveland's City Council? The buzz after last night’s Loveland City Council meeting centers on urgent public outcry, a divided council, and rising pressure to reinstate the city’s only adult homeless shelter.

AIQ – Notes From the Special Meeting – Homelessness The meeting regarding Loveland's unhoused revealed systemic issues, including the council's deflection of citizen concerns and lack of a long-term shelter plan post-closure. The city's budget shortfall, exacerbated by the repeal of a grocery tax, led to service cuts. Transparency gaps persist, highlighting a failure of ethical governance.

AIQ – Loveland Hates The Homeless It has been absolutely sickening watching hate and greed take over Loveland, Colorado, by people who espouse to love it. Now the only overnight shelter we had is closed just before the onset of our winter months. If you look at discussions in any of the Loveland political groups on Facebook it's enough to make your toss up your last meal. How do you reach across the aisle to people who thing homeless human beings are nothing more than an eyesore and an inconvenience? Looks like I have questions, and by now I'm betting you know who's going to be my guest host for this post.

I could really use your help! 9.30.25 I have, once again, made some changes in hopes that it makes this place more readable, consumable, digestible. It's so hard to be pretty and functional at the same time, but I continue to strive. I noticed that the foreground and the background were often difficult for my eyes to differentiate. I acknowledge that this makes it very difficult to focus attention where it's supposed to be. I'm learning as I go, and I don't figure things out until I do. Unfortunately, there are currently 64 pages and 266 posts. These big changes don't always agree with the little changes I've made to address readability on a page by page, post by post, basis.

I would really appreciate your help. #blog #readability #help #assistance #proof #proofreading #checkitout
