He looks terrible!

A tiny brown newt is well-camoflaged in the dirt. He is only about an inch long. He has tiny toes and fingers.

Unlike their rambunctious parents, baby newts make very boring pets. They are basically snake food at this stage, so they spend all their time hiding under the dirt. This is the first time I have seen one in this tank in weeks.

Yes! A breeding pair of rough-skinned newts. I'm about to return a dozen efts to the mud puddle where I collected the parents. I'm kinda proud of keeping them alive this long. They were roughly the size of plankton when they were born.

A baby newt looks like a small damp lizard. It's standing on a little bridge in an aquarium.

Another baby newt has lost his gills and started breathing air through his tiny lungs.

Young newts may spend several years wandering around in the forest before returning to the water to breed.

Oh who cares. Seriously! Who cares about this stupid old news that amounts to precisely nothing. Hillary was not a traitor or a murderer or a pedophile or a spy. She had ambitious but inept IT people. It was a nothing burger. She committed no crimes but some assholes can just never let it go.

Technology was in a different state back then. Things were not as consistent as they are now. We were just a few years past personal BBS systems. It was not unusual for people to try new things. It did not necessarily indicate evil intentions and there was never anything evil found.

We need to tax those corporations out of existence. Same with corporate ownership of housing. Own more than, say, 10 properties and get taxed at 95%. Own more than 5000 acres, same.

White people have been out there protesting hard. Some of us are deeply invested in protecting human rights for all people. We are putting our bodies on the front line and taking the hits. We deserve respect for that too. We are in this together.

I think we should be looking for candidates who bring dignity and respect to their office, and who support the rule of law. Fetterman is just lame, sloppy and worthless for the intended purpose.

What a huge disappointment that guy turned out to be.

In retrospect the sloppy clothes were a red flag. That guy doesn't care what his constituency or anybody else thinks about him.

Hypocrisy is not an unfamiliar concept to these people. Weren't they the ones who were supposed to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the first place?

Why are there so many tourists these days? I don't remember this kind of problem in the past. Do people travel more than they used to?

It probably has something to do with the speaker volume being high enough that he can hear it at a distance but he wants to make sure the microphone picks up his voice.

I feel like strangers in public can engage in their private business without me making fun of their device positioning.
