I just chatted with Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District Rep. Jeff Hurd (R-Grand Junction). He told me he is a YES on releasing the Epstein Files in today’s upcoming vote.

Hiking the Narrows at Zion with my dad today so if y’all don’t hear from me again, I’ve become one with the river and just know I’m cool with it.

Say what you will about Sean Payton’s playcalling today and the dismal offensive play (namely dismal running game); that defense was OUTSTANDING today for Denver. Holding an NFL team to 82 total yards is insane. Nine sacks in one game is insane. Those guys had a near perfect day.

Autumn is my favorite time of year, especially in Colorado. Took these photos atop the Grand Mesa in western Colorado this past weekend.

Hickenlooper had quite a bit to say to me, not without snark toward Trump, but I find Colorado’s conservative response more interesting, as GOPers in the state don’t back Trump’s ideas that there’s any problems with how Coloradans vote.

So I talked to Colorado reps from both the GOP (Mesa County Clerk Bobbie Gross, Reps Matt Soper and Janice Rich) and the Dems (Hickenlooper, Bennet, Weiser) who all defended mail-in voting:

Lukewarm take: the Trumpish type of messaging from Gavin Newsom and other politicians that’s being done ironically is still a bad thing — even if it annoys Trump himself — because it just proves that everyone’s standards for professionalism have dropped. Why does everyone just talk like this now?

It’s impressive that these are two topics worth raising social media hell about and Schumer and his team choose to combine them in the most ineffective way imaginable.

Also neat that everyone’s just accepted that childish all-caps Trump-style posting is just how politics is now.
