So this is where the scoreboard thing is meaningless to me: every person is a universe unto themselves. No one should die solely because of who they are and their identity. You can condemn murdering civilians while still holding revolutionary, liberatory and abolitionist politics.

I’m of the opinion that everything is political, and I have some very strong feelings on Israel/Palestine and wants an end to the genocide and Palestinian political rights. I’m also a Jew who is frightened with the rise in global anti-semitism. This isn’t a particularly dissonant worldview.

Kind of lost my kind seeing a post from a twitter provacteur who lamented that the death of Jews in Manchester shouldn’t get as much attention as the death of 57 Palestinians in Gaza. There is no scoreboard towards the amount of acceptable murders.

The same people who cried about cancel culture are aiming to get people fired over anything said about Charlie Kirk’s death. The furore then and now was always about power. It never was about freedom of expression.

The problem with zealous adherence to an antiquated law giving anyone the right to have a gun is that it gives anyone, absolutely anyone, the right to have a gun.

I don’t want Charlie Kirk to be shot and killed. I want him to be alive and irrelevant.
