At the conference itself I heard people share so eloquently and movingly how Don’s writing and talks had changed their lives. But they also spoke about Don the man – his kindness and generosity. It was an inspiring conference and a great tribute to him.

It was with great sadness that we heard yesterday of the death of Don Cupitt. Don was a great friend and supporter of the Library and was loved and admired by staff and visitors alike. He will be missed.
