But the real highlights were spending time with Rachel, meeting her mom, brother, & her best friend.

Late last year I found a last, small stack of The Tainted Ones comic. Written and drawn to be an inexpensive sample of my art and writing, it's had positive feedback. Same vibes as The Kirklyn Horror, and I'd like to expand it. Just haven't landed on a plot I like...yet.

(5/5): I don't want to ramble. I have no time to argue with sympathizers. And if this shocks you, you obviously don't really know me.

(4/5): It's hard with all the things on my plate to get work done "fast", despite my prolific output, but then I stall (like I did during the BLM protests) & feel like I never said what I had to. I don't know that it's done me any favours keeping it all in, that's for sure.

(3/4): ...And this has been brewing for months and years (a long, long way back).

I've always followed Tolkein's model of "applicability" over "metaphor" & Chadhiyana was created in part due to the RAGE I feel when people are mistreated. It spawned all that fire iconography & her powers to use it.

(2/4): That too often leads to lots of work that never sees the light of day.

I don't know that I have the words for the disgusting cr*p that's happening in the US right now or for a long time, nor for those who support it. But I do have my art, and I can say stuff with that...

It's rare I post my personal views on social media. Mostly because I have businesses to run & I worry how it will affect things. I'm also very much a believer in acting, not reacting. And yet, I second guess myself often--even my art which is one of the things I can act with.
