More and more cool work looks at the role of human archaea in health outcomes. In this preprint, authors suggest protective role & show that colonisation of mice with M. smithii or M. stadtmanae thickens mucus, boosts reg. T cells & protects vs DSS colitis.

-check them out regularly at the library
-request the library order them if they don’t have them
-buy them
-start or support banned book clubs
-organize a banned book kids story time
A real shame

The important thing right now is not to lose hope and become immobilized. With flooding the zone, that is precisely what they are hoping to do, to make you feel as if you have no voice.

It is imperative that every single one of us stay informed and involved.
