Any human being of any gender who has not had a double mastectomy can get breast cancer. Unless you have had such a procedure, you have breast tissue. Men who carry the BRCA2 genetic variant are at greater risk, just like women. It's not common, but it's also not unheard-of.

There are laws about how to interdict suspected criminals on the high seas.

There are laws about how to renovate federal buildings.

There are laws about how not to monetize the presidency.

There are laws. We should enforce them. And not normalize the flagrant violation of them in the newspapers.

Nothing captures the current state of U.S. democracy as accurately as this (real) picture of the White House.

Whenever you see hateful posts on social media, please remember that about 50% of internet activity is now AI/bots, so it's likely that it isn't even a real person. Don't fall for the crap that's trying to divide us, just ignore (block) and move on.

So, this photo is not photoshopped. It was made back in the day (1994) when theme parks and some malls - in this case, Universal in LA - briefly sold pics like this with green screen technology. I was in a uniform they gave me and photographed against a blank screen.

Donald was seven years old, and his father was brought before a U.S. Senate committee investigating abuses in a housing program for war veterans and middle class families. President Eisenhower had been outraged to learn of the bribes that developers paid to bureaucrats and of the alleged profiteering practiced by Trump and others. Ike called them "sons of bitches."
As federal investigators had discovered, the elder Trump had collected an extra $1.7 million in rent-equivalent to $15 million today-before beginning to pay back his low-cost government loan. He was able to do this because a bureaucrat named Clyde Powell approved the paperwork.
Powell, who had never been paid more than a modest government salary, had mysteriously amassed a small fortune. (While it was clear Powell accepted bribes, the sources were never officially identified.) In addition to collecting the extra rent, Trump paid himself a substantial architect's fee. And he charged inflated rents based on an estimate of construction costs that was far greater than what he actually spent. All of this was legal, even if it did victimize taxpayers, veterans, and other renters.

It’s no wonder that Trump has such a twisted view of war and sacrifice. And the utility of bribes.

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

Bad Bunny was born in Puerto Rico, which is part of the United States. Ted Cruz was born in Canada.

Bad Bunny is eligible to run for president because he’s a natural born citizen. Ted Cruz is not.

Thought that was a fun little fact.

Kimmel made jokes, which were poignant and intelligent, in his monologue, on his comedy variety show, and got suspended. Brian Kilmeade seriously advocated for giving lethal injections to homeless people, on a news show, and he's going to work, business as usual.

Hegseth being such a lapdog that he had these soldiers be armed to be tough only for Trump to make them clean up trash is hilarious but also humiliating.

These men and women don't serve to be political props and unpaid laborers.

WKRP: Johnny Fever

This is awesome: a "WKRP in Cincinnati" fan created a three-hour Johnny Fever radio block, by using clips from the TV show and dropping in the full songs on his intros and outros, plus commercials and Les Nessman news breaks.

Mixam has lowered prices for full-size, print-on-demand comic books - 200 24 page full color comics it comes out to less than $2 a book (and you never have to place an ad).
I've used Mixam for all my self-published comix in the last few years, they're the best.
