Buck Rogers Matrix Cubed was my favorite gold box but I played a lot of them. Eye of the Beholder was also a ton of fun until I kept getting disintegrated by the Beholder. Played them all on my dad’s Packard Bell 386sx with 1 meg of ram and an 80 meg hard drive!

Looking back over 50 years, the early 90s SNL era was my favorite. Mike Myers, David Spade, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Kevin Nealon, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock and Phil Hartman (plus others). A lineup perhaps unmatched by any other SNL era except the original cast.

2025 #RealSaltLake kit. References SLC being build on a grid but the white jersey with red stripes also seem to be a callback to the inaugural season kit from 2005.

It wasn’t until Christmas 92 that I was able to convince my folks to shell out for another 1mb of ram and by that time it was sold out locally. At some point I acquired a pirated copy but never finished it. I spent most of the time exploring and stealing everything that wasn’t nailed down.

U7 released on my birthday and my mom was going to buy it for me. While we were waiting in line to check out at Software Etc I looked down and noticed the sticker on the box that said something like ‘for today’s more powerful PCs with 2mb RAM’. I only had a 386 with 1mb. Crushed, I put it back.
