4,100-year-old tomb of doctor who treated pharaohs discovered at Saqqara Archaeologists working at the site of Saqqara have discovered a 4,100-year-old tomb that held the burial of a doctor.

Ancient royals did not trust just anyone as doctors. They had royal doctors who were of their own royal class, whose patients were fellow royals & a few royal servants. For common people, they had "lesser" trained, basic physicians, IF they had any for them at all.
