This is the biggest thing that holds me back from sharing a lot of the time. Most of what I do just feels derivative of something that someone else has done "better" and has already shared that I just lurk and scroll instead of engaging.

Mostly CS here. For physics I use subscripts but constantly fight with myself over the length of subscripts, especially with forces. Too long, they become unreadable and inelegant but too short and you lose meaning and connection.

They are my most used piece of lab equipment as well. So many different uses all year long.

The Mistborn books are the most common entry point. The first book is titled The Final Empire.

I'll be honest in that statistics is one of my weaker subjects. Like, I can do box-and-whisker plots and I can find the mean, median, and mode of a data set. But linear regression? That's where I draw the line.

Having my Day 1 discussion with my students about the importance of Intentional Language in our class this year highlighted in my mind just how much I hate acronyms in Eduspeak.
