We are outraged and deeply distressed that armed federal agents came onto our campusβmaking arrests on the very ground where, in 1942, Japanese American families were forced to board buses bound for concentration camps. It was a deliberate act of provocation and intimidation.

The regime scales up its power of intimidation over a much larger group than those directly affected.

People need to use password managers and stop reusing passwords, and this is one of the biggest obstacles.

This is a mistake. This show is well-loved & the best of the modern Trek shows. It could easily go on to a season 7 or 8.

How was Pocket any different than a cloud-sync'd bookmark? Firefox already has cloud-sync'd bookmarks. I never saw the benefit of that service. And it forced itself on the address bar without a way to remove it for entirely too long, giving me a bad perception of it anyway.

This deserves more attention. The yahoos on the right are trying to steal the election from this justice in NC. After two vote counts, it was clear she won. But that's not enough. Her opponent is fighting to disenfranchise voters by tossing out their votes so he can have the seat.

He told advocates during the meeting that if they disrupted citizens to the point of being untenable, the agency would roll them back. In another instance, the Social Security Administration briefly ended a contract that had allowed parents of newborn babies in Maine to sign their children up for a Social Security number at the hospital, instead requiring them to do so in person at an office. Mr. Dudek said he had ordered the move after watching Janet Mills, Maine's Democratic governor, clash with Mr. Trump at the White House. He quickly reversed that decision, as well as another to end electronic death reporting in the state.
"I was ticked at the governor of Maine for not being real cordial to the president," Mr. Dudek said in the interview. "I screwed up. I'll admit I screwed up."
The acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration admits he retaliated against the entire population of Maineβmostly newborn babies and their parentsβbecause he thought the stateβs governor had been rude to Trump in a White House meeting. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/24/u...
