A Field of Remembrance has opened outside the Hostry at Norwich Cathedral to remember those who have lost their lives in battle.

People can make a donation in return for a cross decorated with a poppy that they can dedicate to a lost loved one.

Did you know...?

The Norwich Cathedral Font was once two copper bowls used for making toffee at the nearby Rowntree Mackintosh factory.

The bowls were gifted to the Cathedral in 1994 when the factory closed.

This is just one of the many deep bonds the Cathedral has with the people of the city.
