No I've never heard of it until this thread but I haven't ever heard of anyone (industry included) asking for it to be changed and getting ignored either. There are plenty of stale statutes in those 12 volumes. They are often undiscovered until someone bumps up against them in some random quest.

I don't know. I mean what's the ultimate result of the lawsuit? Probably the courts saying that the statute needs to be changed which we already know. So why not cut out the "middle/man" (a lawsuit) and just fix the statute. I doubt Kay Brown did this on purpose 35 years ago. 😃 That's all.
