Volunteered to judge the Drama, Debate, and Forensics Tournament this morning.

The topic was extreme sports so I learned about things like Ice Yachting, Extreme Ironing, and Volcano Boarding.

I’ve been in the process of planning a trip to Thailand later this year and part of that is what additional vaccinations or malaria pills we should take before travel

Because of all the prevention work that has been done over the years, its become too easy to forget how easily illnesses can spread

I can’t use duo either, I don’t learn that way.

I love renting foreign movies and listening/reading the subtitles. I still learn a lot of new Thai vocabulary that way.

The first protest I went to was probably around 3rd grade. It was against the French doing nuclear tests in the Pacific.

We were living in Samoa at the time and it was all anyone worried about. I remember making a poster with crayons and making a giant X over French fries.
