A project from 2023 that ended up on my sister's wall. I'd love to create some more wall hangings this year. It's so freeing after a lot of garment sewing and knitting to make something without worrying about fit 😄

I love having a sewing space filled with bits and bobs that mean something to me. My favorite bits are the embroidered stellars jay, a surprise gift from my partner, and the thimble shelf from an antique shop. I'd love to see others craft spaces!

Also Thursdays are mask-only days! I'm not immunocompromised but forever wary of long covid effects so it feels really cozy being in masked spaces.

Spent the afternoon at the Textile Museum of Canada yesterday. What an underrated space! Amazing exhibitions and shop, plus there's a hands on area where I got to try out a floor loom! 🥹
