Winnipeg - Route 90: we’re working on some emergency repairs and will need to take an outage this afternoon affecting the traffic lights at Sterling Lyon and Kenaston. We don't have a firm start time, but it'll be brief and won't affect the power at businesses nearby.

Saint Boniface: we're responding to outages affecting about 470 customers. Crews are on site troubleshooting, but we may be dealing with a couple issues. We will continue updating as we know more. #mboutage

Update: lightning struck a pole. We've got power back on now.

Update - Power was restored at 12:30 am.

Update - our crews have found a downed line. Restoration is in progress.

Update - Strathclair outage has been restored. Crews are still patrolling the Oakburn section to isolate the problem.

STRATHCLAIR and OAKBURN AREA - we have crews on site working on restoring power to approximately 915 customers in the area. #MBoutage

Update - active fires continue to burn, threatening equipment and structures along lines feeding the area. We are working closely with MWS to monitor the situation. Power remains out until we can safely asses damage and begin restoration.

Update - Power restored at 2:30 pm.

SOURIS AREA- Crews are responding to a power outage affecting just over 640 customers in the area. We are working to safely restore power to the line feeding the area as quickly as possible. #MBoutage

LYNN LAKE, BLACK STURGEON, MARCEL COLOMB FIRST NATION - power remains out to around 390 customers. We don’t have specifics as to extent of damage at this time, however initial reports indicate damage to multiple structures. We will update as the situation evolves.

WEST SAINT PAUL, WPG - crews are on the way to investigate a power outage to close to 600 customers. We will be working to safely get the lights back on as fast as possible. #MBoutage

Update - power will remain out in the Lynn Lake and Black Sturgeon area until crews can safely assess the situation.

UPDATE - after a bit of on-again-off-again, the system is holding and power has been restored in the area.

Update - power is out again in Lynn Lake and Black Sturgeon after a line feeding the communities tripped. Will update as more details come in.

WASAGAMACK, GARDEN HILL AREA - A power line feeding the area has tripped, knocking power out to close to 1,900 customers. We have crews responding and assessing the situation. #MBoutage

Update - Crews were able to restore power to most of the communities in the outage area. However, power will remain out in Leaf Rapids until wildfire conditions improve.

Update - power is back on.
