If LSS are trying to say that it's a beta release or early access then I think they need a bit of cop on frankly.

I just don't think it's early access. It's a sanctioned format that can be played at comp level events. PB was early access, this is an actual format people can play and run events in. The fact it's waiting on support is fine but it doesn't change the fact this is a sanctioned format.

It's great to hear PEN is hopefully gonna fix some of these issues, but right now SAGE has the same problems blitz had of being a format of deckbuilding extremes with lots of variance. That's a valid and relevant critique for a format people will be playing for money and prizing this weekend

But that's what it is right now! If you've presented me with a cake and said you can eat it and enjoy it but there's frosting to come which will elevate it, and I try it and there's no flavour, it doesn't take away from the fact the cake sucks right now?

I think calling it early access is somewhat disingenuous. It's a format that has BH level events. You can play SAGE for money and PTIs. It is perfectly allowed to be criticised right now, the same way any format is

Scott we can only criticise the format as it is in front of us. Saying "oh we have to wait until these other things to happen to give it a fair critique" is reductive. You can only evaluate something based on available information, it's not immune to critique just because PEN isn't out yet

The calls were not the issue per se. The issue was communicating with Doris. At no point during his card frenzy did he have a word and give Doris a moment to cool the heads. I think the Porter YC was incredibly harsh and not YCing SFM was just incorrect.

Thought Ireland's defense was excellent and the few moments we got to attack we were punching holes. I could see the vision. Crowley, JGP outstanding, Doris and Baird too. I think that's about where the compliments end. Discipline and leadership completely devoid. Need to fix that somehow.

The day Rassie leaves rugby will be a bright day. Have not respected him since his comments during the Lions Tour (which has done extraordinary damage to reffing and ref criticism) and his continued attitude has not improved things. An absolute stain on the game.
