Would love to hear his thoughts on why Tottenham have so many injuries.

Yes I agree, but if the game allows it you can’t blame teams taking advantage of it.
The scrum that takes place in the goalmouth before set pieces should be stopped.

It’s a dairy free alternative. But of course I suppose they don’t like vegans either or those that are lactose intolerant.

Oat milk?!

He has experience of managing in the championship.

Because they’re trying to keep a controlled tone of β€œeverything is fine”. They don’t want to admit they’ve failed again.

We have 12 days until Arsenal. It’s a good time to make the change. Now or never.

I don’t think we’ll need to β€œsacrifice” Europe.

Your omission of Romero has been noted.

That might make more sense as he has the legs to track back and cover for Udogie. And we know he can whip a cross in from that side too.

Not defending the terrible recruitment process. We obviously should have sorted it out during the summer! And now we have an injury crisis with inadequate squad depth to cope.

The problem is we need high quality players for certain positions and they are notoriously hard to source in January.

I honestly cannot see us getting anything against City. They are a level above us, especially with our injuries. Generally I think the performances have improved recently, West Ham aside, against weaker opponents but we’re not where we should be. Not all of this is Frank’s fault.

Can you translate that please?

They will calmly and sensibly sack him at the end of the season.

Fascinating. Not a tourist in sight. Just shows how much the game has changed. Thanks for sharing.

Probably not but our best players aren’t going to stick around if we continue on this trajectory.

We wore watches just to tell the time.

I think I’d be ok if we were succeeding playing bad football, at least at this early stage. But I’d rather be failing trying to play good football than failing playing bad.

They are a good team but Tottenham Hotspur are expected to win this fixture, especially looking at their away record so far and the players away at African Cup. We should be doing better.

I felt Sunderland stepped up the intensity in the second half making it difficult to keep the ball. As a result we retreated into our own half a lot more and allowed them chances. First half was much easier but we couldn’t capitalise. I thought at half time we needed that second goal.

04.01.2026 19:52 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, I don’t think this is a good idea to let go of a young talent with Frank’s future in the balance.

30.12.2025 11:20 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

We deserved to lose this game, and that may have been better for us in the long run.

28.12.2025 18:47 β€” πŸ‘ 6    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Sounds suspiciously like they’ve all been instructed to say that if questioned by the media.

26.12.2025 21:59 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Your last sentence is the key. And clearly it’s less of a risk to stick with a coach that has just won the club a major European trophy and has momentum.

24.12.2025 09:37 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Agree with every word. My only hope is that given time Frank will work it out, but it will continue to be painful. I’m not in favour of changing coaches again before the season ends.

23.12.2025 10:22 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Didn’t see much in that. It’s not netball. Think the ref had it in for us from the start.

20.12.2025 23:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

What did he do to get the second yellow? Couldn’t see anything obvious and I was in line with the incident.

20.12.2025 19:43 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

That’s never a red card though is it?

20.12.2025 18:24 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

No way was that a red. Ref has been dreadful.
