Once you start thinking of AI as a war on humanity, on human thought, on human inquiry, on human labor, on nuance and critical thinking, it slots in pretty seamlessly with the right wing ideological project, oligarchical political projects, big tech's political projects, etc

Younger coworker recently watched Unforgiven and asked me if I had ever seen it.

Once he realized it was one of my all-time favorites it was off to the races and we gorged on cinematic discussion/appreciation the rest of the morning. I think we maybe also worked, dunno.

I hear that. We have just given up on getting candy for trick or treaters because we get so few the last few years. WTF they all gone?! So it’s just pizza and chilling.
