You find yourself at the scene of an accident where many lives are lost. Suddenly you spot a dark, spectral figure walking away. You cautiously approach the figure until you’re walking right beside it.
“It’s been a minute, Death.”
“Indeed it has, Supreme One,” Death responds.

Writing Prompt #12:
Years ago, you helped a lost child. Today, as the victim of a mugging, you find yourself shot & bleeding out alone. Suddenly a cloaked figure appears, & with a scythe in hand, you realize it is the same child from all those years ago. To your surprise, they seem to remember you.

Writing Prompt #11:
You were gifted with telekinesis. There‘s a drawback to your powers however, as it never works on living beings. One day, while cleaning up your son's room, you attempt to move the new toys scattered across the floor using your powers, only to realize you can't.

Writing Prompt #10:
As you die, you suddenly wake up on a chair attached to tubes and wires. Various shadowy figures walk up to you, “That was life sentence number 24, only 356 sentences left for you.”

After a number of questionable laws & reports of people committing the strangest of acts, you've had enough. You, a group of friends, geologists, a herd of alpacas, & an eccentric millionaire band together to do something thought impossible: get rid of Florida once & for all.

Writing Prompt #8:
Humanity is gone. Centuries on, beings awaken you from a cryogenic station holding elite soldiers. They need help in an upcoming war against those who ended humanity. As the last human, you agree. The problem? You're actually just a HR worker placed in cryogenic sleep by accident.

Writing Prompt #7:
As the most powerful being, your powers put every hero & villain to shame. Both have tried persuading you to join them, but you've declined. Instead, you proudly own a local bar, hosting occasional karaoke nights. That all changes when your bar is mysteriously burned down.

Writing Prompt #6:
Humanity is visited by a cosmic horror the likes of which has only been seen in Lovecraftian stories. In desperation, Earth throws everything we have at it, and, miraculously, manages to kill a god. Somewhere, in a realm beyond our understanding, other gods speak of the event.

Writing Prompt #5:
You're the superhero that the world needs, literally. Ever since you were a teen, you've woken up every day with a different power needed to solve the world's problems, for that day. Today you wake up to a world on the verge of war, yet no powers have manifested within you.

Starting from zero essentially here is an interesting feeling, bit scary really, but somehow still filled with hope!

Writing Prompt #4:
Once you pass away, your spirit stays on, roaming the earth until you're entirely forgotten by all. Although you weren't anyone particularly special while you were alive, you've been somehow wondering the earth for 9,369 years now, and you're starting to get really annoyed.

Writing Prompt #3:
It's the apocalypse & you're in charge of it. By the time you receive the order, the Creator slumbers & cannot wake up. They also forgot to grant you the powers needed to carry this out, leaving you with only mediocre skills. Now, you must somehow get it done before they wake up.

Started this one, but had to stop in middle. Look forward to your thoughts on it though!

A vampire has worked at the local 7-11 for the past 5 decades. No one has the heart to call the vampire out, or slay them. A little because they're such a good employee, but mostly because they think they're doing such a good job hiding the vampirism when they're really not.

Writing Prompt #1:

The year is 12,023, you’re writing your thesis on ancient civilizations from roughly 10,000 years ago and the gods that they worshipped such as Kal’el - God of Justice, Zelda - Goddess of Wisdom, Batman - God of Fear, Iron Man - God of Fortune and thousands of others.

Had to scroll so far to find my first prompt…

So, we’re now and ready to create some chaos 😤
