Our washing machine is still broken. The laundry situation is getting dire.

A replacement lock will be installed tomorrow and will do the trick. The issue is that the lid no longer locks, and the machine will not enter the spin cycle if the lid isn't locked.

The part for our broken washing machine will arrive on Thursday, at which point I'll likely greet the repairman wearing the cocktail dress I bought for a wedding two years, since that will be the only clean thing left in my closet.
