I'm not a digital artist, so your mileage may vary. I know Krita can be better for the art side. Figured I'd share since it's not often suggested as a Photoshop alternative.

If you use Photoshop and switch to Linux (or just don't want to pay for SaaS), check out Photopea. Files are local, and it can be installed as a web app. I find it much more of a 1:1 parity with Photoshop than GIMP or Krita. The workflow is much more intuitive and similar.

It's a great little compilation. 😃
