I enjoyed this a lot, and learned some stuff.

It's not just a polemic about new stuff being bad, it's a sincere look at what makes a movie feel "real."

This is one of those cases where things truly used to be better.

It was probably a bad projector, but my biggest complaint in the movie was the bland cgi color pallete, so that wouldn't do it any favors. Still a great time and one I expect to rewatch regularly.

Personally, I thought the sex scenes didn’t really add anything to the cinematic story. They were just added to draw in a certain audience.

I love the battle system. It's a lot to think about but once you figure out your flow with the team comp and meter management it is super satisfying. I do think Rebirth gives you way too much at once though.

I feel good about this. Been a really good first half of the decade.
