We demonstrate how depletion‑mode organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) can be fabricated using simple, low‑cost materials.

Seminar Day!
In Heidelberg, we explored exciting topics in peer lectures by Xiuming and Fabio. In the afternoon, Felix Deschler led an engaging workshop on color perception and selection. To round off the day Amitabh Banerji delivered an excellent talk on OECT devices.

At the Fehling-Lab, we explored exciting topics in machine learning and 3D printing of conductive polymers during peer lectures by Philipp and Silas. In the afternoon, we had the pleasure of welcoming Amitabh Banerji, who led a hands-on workshop on science communication.

We kicked off the seminar day with peer lectures from Yachen about #photolithography followed by Richard giving insights into #DFT. In the afternoon we had a great talk by Prof. Dr. Nora Heinzelmann about Hashtag #values in science!

GRK2948 in School!

We demonstrated the polymerization of ionically conductive hydrogels. Students then worked in small groups to measure ionic conductivity using real lab setups - a hands-on dive into mixed ionic-electronic transport!
A great way to inspire the young researchers of the future!
